What's in the water you drink? NPR tells us it's more than just H20. Journalist Charles Duhigg reports on the many pollutants infecting drinking water and our bodies in the NY Times special series Toxic Waters. Duhigg reports that "Almost four decades after Congress passed the Clean Water Act, the rate of water pollution violations is rising steadily." It seems that we cannot rely on Washington to enforce laws that will protect water and health, so what are our other sources of accountability and protection?
